Overview A leading contractor working on the prestigious Dolphin Square refurbishment project is seeking an experienced Document Controller for short-term cover. The previous Document Controller has recently resigned, and the client is recruiting for a permanent replacement — meaning this temporary assignment may lead to a long-term/permanent opportunity for the right person. Key Responsibilities * Manage and maintain all project documentation using the company’s document control systems (e.g., Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, or similar). * Upload, distribute, track, and archive drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, reports, and correspondence. * Ensure all documents follow project protocols, version control, and QA standards. * Support the Project Manager, Design Manager, and wider site team with document-related queries. * Maintain registers, trackers, and logs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. * Assist with issuing packages to consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. * Coordinate document flow between site and office-based teams. * Provide administrative support where required to support site operations. Requirements * Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction is essential. * Familiarity with common document management platforms (Asite, Aconex, Viewpoint, 4Projects, etc.). * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced site environment. * Good communication skills and the ability to support multiple teams. * Available for an immediate start.
