The Role
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a motivated and experienced Lecturer in Hairdressing on a casual basis. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring students in the dynamic hairdressing industry.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Your primary responsibility is to assist in developing and delivering excellent learning experiences. Specific duties include:
* Delivering inclusive, high-standard teaching, learning, and assessment in Hairdressing.
* Supporting curriculum design to meet current regulations, specifications, and industry standards.
* Monitoring and supporting student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression through tailored guidance.
* Contributing to student recruitment through interviews, open days, and guidance activities.
* Maintaining current subject knowledge and effective teaching practices (digital and face-to-face).
