Role Overview
As the Head of Nutrition and Dietetics, you will be responsible for the clinical leadership and overall operational performance of the service and provide professional leadership to all dieticians.
Responsibilities
Lead the department on professional and clinical governance issues.
Serve as a source of professional expertise in the field of nutrition and dietetics for the Trust.
Provide support and clinical supervision to dietitians, dietetic assistants, apprentice dietitians and students working within Nutrition and Dietetics.
Assist in the development of others within the department to encourage competent and confident provision of inpatient and outpatient nutrition and dietetic services through in-house training and competency assessment.
