Mental Health Support Worker - Female only

Overview
As a member of our clinical team you will provide home‑visit care on a varied caseload, supporting clients’ wellbeing and working one‑to‑one in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day and night‑time support to meet clients’ individual needs.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including electronic patient records within 24 hours.
* Assist clients and families to access community services and manage mental health challenges.
* Ensure confidentiality, data protection and information governance compliance.
* Participate in team meetings and maintain professional links with carers, referral agents and community services.
* Attend mandatory training and pursue professional development.
* Support Claimont Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety and Information Governance policies.
* Promote and uphold professional standards in line with the Professional Code of Conduct.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 12 months mental health experience (preferably PTSD & Personality Disorder, forensic settings).
* Evidence of resource management, teamwork and consistent performance.
* Basic computer skills; post‑basic healthcare qualifications desirable; degree level desirable.
* Clean full driving licence desirable.
Skills
* Excellent verbal, written and report‑writing skills.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Ability to manage change, work to deadlines in pressured environments, and build relationships in challenging situations.
* Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983, Health and Social Care Act and NHS practice.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive pay £15 per hour (salary £13 - £13.50 per hour). Includes paid induction and CPD support. Flexible working patterns available.
