Role Overview
This role involves maintaining and enhancing secure, multi‑classification virtualised collaboration, development and cloud environments across public, private and hybrid platforms, ensuring alignment with secure‑by‑design principles. You will provide senior‑level infrastructure oversight, including change control, monitoring, incident response, patching, and lifecycle support for SaaS and enterprise systems, ensuring rapid restoration of service and effective risk mitigation.
You’ll drive continual service improvement through trend analysis, problem management, automation and knowledge sharing, while providing technical leadership, stakeholder advice, and maintaining up‑to‑date expertise in cloud and network technologies.
Essential Skills
* Team leadership and stakeholder management
* Windows Server 2016+ administration
* Red Hat OpenShift Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu)
* EUD provisioning (Autopilot), maintenance, patching and hardening
* SSO – concepts and operation
* Understanding of working in secure environments
* VMware Azure Networking Automation (scripting Ansible/PowerShell)
Desirable Skills
* Kubernetes administration e.g. VMware TKGI
* VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF
* Azure/Microsoft 365 administration
* DevSecOps Tooling
* Elastic
* Nessus

Requirements
* Active security clearance at SC or MoD DV level – due to the nature of the client and role, we can only consider candidates who hold a British passport.
* Be willing to work full‑time on client site in Farnborough.
