What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Support the completion of daily inventory, storage and stock control activities
* Carry out cycle counts, ad‑hoc checks and annual stock checks in line with site schedules
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, reporting exceptions accurately
* Use inventory systems and tools to improve stock accuracy and product placement
* Work closely with operational teams to reduce stock loss and improve inventory performance
* Ensure all activity is completed safely and in line with H&S, quality and legal requirements
* Communicate effectively with Team Leaders and site stakeholders on inventory performance
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across inventory and storage processes
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Experience working in inventory or stock, within a warehouse or distribution environment
* A good understanding of health & safety and safe working practices
* Strong attention to detail with an analytical, problem‑solving mindset
* Basic IT skills and confidence working with data and systems
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* A reliable, flexible approach to work, including night shifts
