We are looking for a confident and proactive Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the RiverCourt Restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 8 staff, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for both customers and employees.
Working closely with the kitchen team, you will help maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong retail or hospitality experience who is passionate about delivering excellent service and leading a team effectively.
The Role
1. Supervise and support a team of 8 staff to ensure efficient daily operations
2. Maintain order and control within the restaurant, ensuring a safe working environment
3. Deliver high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
4. Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain food quality standards
5. Ensure compliance with ISS food safety policies and procedures
6. Monitor and maintain high levels of cleanliness across all areas of the restaurant
7. Ensure adherence to health & safety and employment policies
8. Support staff training, performance, and day-to-day guidance
About You
9. Experience in retail and/or hospitality
10. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
11. Food Safety Level 2 certification
12. Allergen Awareness knowledge
13. Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
14. Excellent communication and customer service skills
15. Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
16. Organised, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
