Health & Safety Advisor required in London GVR Solutions are currently in the market for a Health and Safety Advisor to join one of our longest standing clients. As an award winning and leading Main contractor in their field they get involved in a range of modern and sustainable construction projects in the Education, Healthcare and Government backed sectors. With their head office based in London, you will be visiting multiple live sites in London and the South of England on a weekly basis, working closely with their H&S Lead, site teams and contractors to ensure safe working environments at all stages of construction. Health and Safety Advisor Responsibilities: * Assurance of compliance in production, delivery and operational practices with relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and wellbeing (HSEW) standards, policies, procedures, processes, systems, and regulations. * Maintaining Health and Safety Standards, ensuring our teams are aware and enforcing their requirements * Identifying potential hazards and ensuring managers and leaders are aware of them and mitigating them. * Ensuring the welfare of all staff and visitors. * Engage and liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to share the best practices of their HSEW policies, procedures, and ways of working. * Perform regular compliance audits on live projects. * Liaise with external health and safety representatives and authorities, keeping up to date...
