Maintenance Services Representative
Responsibilities
Job Summary
Perform Line Maintenance on Aircraft In Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems and other aircraft equipment to ensure system serviceability and functionality. Carry out systems troubleshooting using basic computer and electronic theories and test equipment. Remove and replace components and equipment in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures. Complete all administrative duties associated with maintenance actions performed.
Major Responsibilities
* IFEC and Aircraft Systems Maintenance:
o Perform maintenance tasks including component replacement, adjustments, inspections, functional tests, and certification, including but not limited to:
o Remove and replace components following all applicable documentation.
o Troubleshoot system failures down to Line Replaceable Units (LRU), cabling, or other aircraft systems and perform functional tests post-rectification.
o Perform Cabin Sweep inspections in accordance with Panasonic LMPs and report findings.
o Perform Built-in (BIT) and manual tests.
o Assist with Software and Media Loading.
o Clean components and equipment racks if applicable.
o Complete aircraft documentation as per customer requirements.
o Ensure timely escalation and coordination with Lead or Supervisor regarding issues in the aircraft area.
o Perform other related duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
o Based on aircraft type, may work on other aircraft equipment as assigned.
o Communicate and interface with customers.
o Certify all work completed under company authority and regulations.
* Administrative:
o Assist in managing airside inventory, cycle counting, packaging, and shipping.
o Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health, safety, and tool care.
o Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
Education/Experience Requirements
* Secondary/Technical School degree.
* 12 months experience on Panasonic IFEC systems.
* Minimum of 24 months on-aircraft experience.
* Must have worked on aircraft within the last 18 months.
* Hold valid aircraft certification/license for the relevant aircraft types/systems at the assigned location.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements
* Essential aircraft maintenance experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work under high-stress, high-pressure conditions.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Basic computer skills in Linux.
* Leadership ability to supervise others as needed.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply professional concepts in resolving issues.
* Excellent English language skills.
Other Requirements
* Legal right to work in the assigned country.
* Ability to pass security and background checks.
* Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 25%.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to meet airport access requirements.
* Ability to work rotating shifts, 24/7, 365 days.
* Manual dexterity and physical ability to handle tools, climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions.
