Job Description

Join us at the heart of our business in Corporate, one of the central support functions that underpin our business and keep us moving forward. We provide centralised support, expertise and guidance across our UK and Group operations, continuing to build on our success and trailblazing the way to our next stage of digital growth.

What You’ll Do

As an IPA Officer, you’ll play a critical operational role supporting lawful data disclosure that directly contributes to national security and public safety. You’ll work within a highly regulated environment, applying legal frameworks and internal policies to ensure requests from law enforcement are handled accurately, securely, and within strict timeframes.

This is a hands‑on, detail‑driven role where your work has real‑world impact. You’ll be trusted to manage sensitive information, operate with precision, and contribute to a 24/7 function that supports time‑critical investigations, including life‑at‑risk scenarios.

* Process lawful requests in line with the Investigatory Powers Act (IPA) and internal policies
* Validate requests to ensure legal compliance before progressing
* Retrieve, interpret, and disclose communications data using approved systems
* Deliver responses within strict statutory and operational SLAs
* Maintain accurate records and audit trails for all activity
* Handle sensitive information with the highest levels of confidentiality and security
* Act as a point of contact for law enforcement and internal stakeholders
* Support continuous improvement across processes, systems, and controls
* Work within a shift‑based 24/7 environment, including nights and weekends
* Given the nature of the role, our team operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This may involve unsupervised work during shifts and bank holidays.

Qualifications

Who you are

* Understanding of the Investigatory Powers Act or similar legal/regulatory frameworks
* Experience processing or administering structured requests within defined guidelines
* Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate work
* Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information securely and professionally
* Comfortable working in time‑critical environments with competing priorities
* Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information simply
* Experience maintaining records, logs or audit trails for compliance purposes
* Willingness to work flexible shift patterns in a 24/7 operational setting
* MUST be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance and willing to obtain and maintain it
