J ob Description:
They are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including the preparation of accounts for various entities, filing tax returns, and training junior team members.
1. Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
2. Complete Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax returns accurately and on time.
3. Provide training and support to junior team members to ensure their professional development.
For the Accountant role, it would be good to see candidates with:
4. 3 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice is desirable.
5. Knowledge of Xero and Digita suite preferred.
6. Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality service to clients.
7. Strong time management and organizational skills.
8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
9. Methodical and logical thinking abilities.
10. Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
11. Professional accounting qualifications such as AAT or part-qualified ACCA.
This role is commutable from Uttoxeter, Stafford, Rugeley, Stoke on Trent, Stone
The role would suit candidates with the following experience: Junior Accountant, Accountant, Semi Senior Accountant
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:30 am – 5:00 pm 35hrs per week
Salary: Upto £30,000 per annum
