Consulting & Public Sector - leading and assuring major engagements from concept to delivery We are looking for experienced Principal Product Managers to lead and assure large-scale digital transformation engagements across the UK. You will take ownership of projects from initial concept through to successful delivery, shaping product strategies and driving Agile programme delivery in user-centred environments. Role Overview As a Principal Product Manager (Consultant), you will: Lead significant consulting engagements end-to-end, ensuring delivery excellence Shape product strategy, develop business cases, and influence senior stakeholders Drive Agile transformations and programme delivery in product-focused contexts Manage, coach, and develop a small senior team, fostering performance and growth Facilitate large stakeholder workshops to drive focused and actionable outcomes Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-Level executives Translate complex business requirements into cost-effective functional solutions Navigate commercial considerations to deliver projects on time and within budget Adapt quickly to fast-changing and uncertain environments Essential Skills & Experience Extensive experience in Product Management, User Experience, Agile, and Programme Assurance In-depth knowledge of at least two major business verticals (e.g., Telco, Financial Services, Retail) Experience with at least two business application environments (e.g., CRM, eCommerce) Proven ability to communicate and mentor C-Level stakeholders on product management best practices Broad understanding of business, technology, and industry trends Demonstrated delivery experience within Agile teams Experience managing or coaching senior professionals Strong facilitation skills for leading diverse stakeholder groups Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective team management skills across multi-disciplinary teams Sound knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies Commercially astute with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and budget Desirable Experience working in digital startups or full-service digital agencies Background delivering high-quality digital products Experience leading Digital Transformation initiatives Project management certifications (e.g., Scrum Product Owner, PRINCE2, MSP) Active involvement in product management communities (e.g., conferences, online groups) Contact Anna-Jane Murphy at Anson McCade to learn more!
