This exciting opportunity is central to our development initiatives at the Solihull plant. We seek a motivated leadership development professional with experience in creating impactful content and facilitating sessions that can transform leadership mindsets and behaviors. The individual will be a key member of the People Transformation Team within the Site Strategy and Transformation department. Responsibilities include building leadership capabilities, fostering change, and developing colleague engagement aligned with the global JLR strategy, existing initiatives, and collaboration with the central Leadership Development squad, L&D Academy, and other stakeholders.
Approximately 50% of this role involves delivery: facilitating workshops, team development circles, on-the-job shadowing, coaching, and other leadership development activities. The remaining responsibilities include content development, stakeholder management, contract management with external providers, and program management.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As the Leadership Development Lead, you'll:
• Understand JLR's cultural transformation and develop an aligned leadership development approach for Solihull.
• Design, develop, and deliver leadership programs across all levels in Solihull, either directly or through third-party providers.
• Ensure a cohesive learning experience for all leadership levels, including executive leaders (LL4+).
• Collaborate with global JLR stakeholders to align local leadership initiatives with global programs.
• Support the implementation of sustainable leadership offerings that enhance current capabilities and integrate new starters effectively.
• Contribute to redesigning ongoing leadership interventions (e.g., Group Leader Academy, Production Leader Academy), working with key stakeholders.
• Manage program activities, coordinate internal and external resources, and oversee budgets.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Proven experience in delivering and facilitating leadership workshops, from first-line to senior leadership.
• Previous leadership development experience.
• Ability to challenge and influence leadership behaviors at all levels, including senior executives.
• Credibility and confidence to inspire trust and influence at senior levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and presentations.
• Ability to translate lessons learned into future program designs.
• Initiative and innovation in improving leadership development practices.
