Carpenter Multi / UPVC - Empty Homes Team Salary: £32,880 - £38,000 (depending on experience) Location: Bournemouth Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week The Role Our client is looking for an experienced Carpenter Multi / UPVC operative to join their Property Services / Empty Homes Team covering the Bournemouth area. This is a hands-on role focused on preparing and maintaining vacant properties to a high standard, ensuring homes are ready for re-let. You will be working across a variety of residential properties and will be provided with a company van and fuel card due to the mobile nature of the role. What's on Offer £32,880 - £38,000 salary (DOE) £335 annual tool allowance Company van and fuel card (business use) Uniform and PPE provided iPhone and iPad 25 days annual leave bank holidays Rising to 30 days with length of service Up to 3 paid wellbeing days per year 2 paid volunteering days per year Option to buy or sell annual leave Generous pension scheme (matched up to 12%) Life assurance (4x annual salary) Salary sacrifice tech scheme Overtime and call-out opportunities at competitive rates Key Responsibilities Carrying out carpentry repairs and installations within empty and occupied properties 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works Installation of internal and external doors, door frames, and windows UPVC installation, servicing, and repairs Locksmith duties including gaining entry (lock snapping, drilling, picking) Installation and repair of fencing (posts, feather edge, chain link, panels) Kitchen fitting, kitchen unit assembly, and minor joinery works Undertaking basic multi-trade tasks including plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating, and general maintenance as required What We're Looking For Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within residential or social housing NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or a minimum of 5 years' proven carpentry experience Strong understanding of health & safety best practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence (minimum 1 year held) and willingness to take home a company van
