As a Transport Co Ordinator you will be the lynchpin between customers, supply chain and production. Day to day your job will involve
* Scheduling Deliveries for Customers
* Liaising with Haulage companies to ensure these take place
* Dealing with customer enquiries as needed
To be a successful Transport Co Ordinator you will need
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills – this is a “people” job
* A good level of computer and numeric literacy – Ms Excel in particular
* Experience working within a Manufacturing Supply Chain – ideally in a logistics / delivery function
