We will support the customer in-person at their lab, and by phone and email, serving as a trusted advisor. In doing so, we will help to increase customer satisfaction and build loyalty and contribute the overall success of the business.
1. Deliver on-site and remote scientific application support to our customers on our NGS and CE products.
2. Perform product demonstrations and training at customer or company sites
3. Diagnose & resolve product performance problems and customer queries/complaints
4. Work with sales representatives on sales calls to customer laboratories to provide technical and applications assistance in response to customer inquiries
5. Assist the regional sales team in the development of accounts by giving technical seminars and presentations that promote the use of our products
6. Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio and scientific developments in NGS, CE and related subjects
7. Build trust with our customers and excel in customer service
How will you get here?
Education
8. Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar (Masters or PhD preferred)
Experience
9. Several years’ molecular biology laboratory experience
10. Hands-on experience with NGS and/or CE
11. Bioinformatics experience highly encouraged
12. Experience in communicating technical materials in written and verbal form
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
13. Customer-facing experience, with the emotional intelligence to understand customer concerns
14. Able to connect with and support people optimally with varying levels of technical knowledge and expertise
15. Good computer and/or IT skills and have an interest for groundbreaking technology
16. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% weekly), including frequent overnights
17. Proficient in English
18. Driving licence
