This is a great move for a newly qualified solicitor or someone with up to three years' post-qualification experience who is looking to carve out a niche in agricultural and rural estates law. The Role You’ll work as part of a highly skilled and approachable team, handling a wide variety of work relating to rural property and land, including: Buying and selling farm land, and rural estates (including complex agreements like overages and options) Agricultural tenancies and occupation rights Rights of way, easements, and boundary issues Equestrian and sporting rights Working closely with the private client team on succession planning, trust structures, and tax matters affecting landowners You’ll have the chance to run smaller transactions yourself, while also working closely with senior lawyers on larger, high-value matters. You’ll also be involved in meetings with clients, land agents, and professionals from across the rural sector – as well as attending events that support the team’s business development strategy.
