This full-time, term-time only role offers an exceptional opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching. As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with students needing extra support in Maths—helping to build their confidence and raise attainment, while gaining invaluable classroom experience.
Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities
* Deliver focused academic support in Maths lessons
* Lead small group sessions and one-to-one interventions
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learning strategies
* Help identify and address learning gaps
* Foster a positive attitude towards Maths

For this Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant role, we’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic graduate who meets the following criteria:
* A minimum 2:1 degree in Maths or a related subject (e.g., Physics, Engineering, Economics)
* Excellent numeracy and subject knowledge
* Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
* A genuine passion for education and student development
* Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, school-based roles) – desirable
* Interest in pursuing a career in teaching or educational support
