A co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 11 to 19 years in Holyport, Berkshire. Catering for 700 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of breakfast, lunch, supper, morning snack, and afternoon snack with small amounts of hospitality daily. This is a term-time plus contract working 38 weeks per year plus Easter and summer school. This is a 7-day operation, so the working pattern will be 5 days out of 7. Additional benefits include free on-site parking.

We are seeking a talented Senior Chef De Partie to join our team at our prestigious location in Holyport.
You should have previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
You will enjoy working with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. Creativity and skill showcase opportunities are available.
Key responsibilities:
1. Work effectively within a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
2. Ensure all food preparation meets or exceeds standards.
3. Supervise junior team members.
4. Maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination in work areas.
5. Produce food using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following brand standards.
6. Adhere to food standards and manage wastage.
7. Follow Food Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, and allergen control procedures.
Skills required:
1. Genuine interest in food and excellent customer service skills.
2. Strong team player.
3. Innovation and passion for quality food.
4. Organized with attention to detail.
5. Understanding of food cost and wastage management.
6. Good verbal and written English skills.
7. Experience in customer service or food preparation preferred.
