Michael Page are working with with a very well known business going through a period of growth. They are seeking an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their vibrant team at an exciting time for the business.
Job Description
Duties include:
* Responsible for inputting, coding and processing of invoices daily
* Preparation of month end payment runs according to company policy
* Ensuring key accounts are managed appropriately to minimise late payments
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
* Supplier statement reconciliation and control, maintenance of aged accounts
* Processing staff expenses in line with company policy and submit to payroll
* Assisting with intercompany account reconciliation
* Ad-hoc duties as required
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
* Previous Purchase Ledger experience - Required
* Strong understanding of the reconciliations process - Required
* Excellent communication skills written and verbal - Required
* Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
* High attention to detail and levels of accuracy - Required
* Prior experience within the Retail sector - Desirable
