We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Safeguarding and Welfare Officer to join the team on a term time only basis (22.2 hours a week, 39 weeks per year). In return,you will receive a competitive salary of £31,220-£33,285 per annum pro rata.

About the role:
As the Safeguarding and Welfare Officer, you will provide exemplary safeguarding of students and facilitate the necessary support to enable them to ensure they stay safe and healthy, removing any barriers to allow them to make good progress.
Responsibilities as our Safeguarding and Welfare Officer will include:
1. Serving as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead referring, reporting and recording any concerns
2. Supporting and managing safeguarding referrals that are triaged and directed for intervention and swiftly action
3. Reporting safeguarding and welfare concerns to the Safeguarding and Welfare Manager and assist with supporting learners.
