Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Group Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering and maintenance functions across Fantasy Island and Skegness Pier. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of all maintenance, engineering, and project activity across both sites.
This senior position provides the long-term vision, planning, and resource management needed to ensure both day-to-day reliability and future growth. From ride and attraction overhauls and safety programmes, to large-scale seasonal event builds, through to project managing infrastructure and caravan plot developments, this role ensures our facilities and attractions are safe, reliable, and continually improving.
Key Duties
* Oversee all maintenance, electrical, and mechanical functions across Fantasy Island and Skegness Pier
* Provide leadership and direction to site managers and their teams, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy
* Develop and deliver long-term planned preventative maintenance schedules across both sites
* Lead on major project work including event builds, ride refurbishments, and infrastructure development
* Manage statutory compliance, inspections, and safety testing across all operations
* Coordinate resources, budgets, and priorities across multiple teams and sites
* Support the Operations Manager with capital investment projects and long-term asset planning
* Oversee ride engineering works to industry standards, ensuring reliability and guest safety
* Deliver projects on time and within budget, from short-term seasonal activity to multi-year developments
* Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for compliance, auditing, and lifecycle planning
* Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
You Will Have
* Senior-level experience in maintenance, engineering, construction, or a related field
* Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
* In-depth knowledge of compliance and statutory maintenance requirements in safety-critical environments
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities, with the confidence to manage across disciplines and sites
* Flexibility to work weekends and peak holiday periods when required
