We're thrilled to find a temporary, full-time RE Teacher to join our Outstanding boys' school in Harrow, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce students to the richness and diversity of religious and ethical thought across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) in North West London.
What you'll be doing:
* You'll be delivering engaging and effective Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity and developing students' critical thinking and analytical skills, tailored for boys.
* It's about contributing to a positive learning environment within the department and genuinely supporting students to reach their full potential.
* You'll cultivate a reflective and inclusive classroom where students feel empowered to explore their own beliefs and engage in thoughtful, respectful discussions.
What we're looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong specialism in Religious Education, Philosophy, or Theology.
* Ideally, you'll have some experience teaching engaging and effective RE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 for boys.
* A broad and current understanding of different religious traditions and ethical frameworks is essential.
* Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and that ability to facilitate sensitive discussions.
