Personal Injury Legal Secretary
An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join our highly reputable and established Personal Injury team.
We are looking for someone with experience in personal injury and who is confident and proactive.
Main purpose of role
Working in the personal injury team to provide administrative and secretarial support to Fee Earners within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with experts, counsel, witnesses, and the court
To prepare correspondence and documents through audio and copy typing
Use of accounting and time recording software
Checking documents for accuracy
Taking telephone messages
Making appointments, managing diaries, and seeing to the reasonable requirements of clients
Use of photocopier and scanner where necessary
To prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch
To ensure the confidentiality and security of all documentation to comply with GDPR regulations
Skills and Qualifications
Good academic record
Legal Secretary experience in Personal Injury
Use of the Proclaim Case Management system would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.
Due to the nature of this role, it is entirely office based in the Chichester Office.
