Carbon60 are recruiting for a number of Electricians to work for a large engineering company that provide pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators. This Electrician is on a temporary basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who is apprenticeship trained (or a relevant qualification) and has worked within a related industry. Role Responsibilities: Working to engineering wiring diagrams and P&ID's Knowledge of cable tray layout and installation Experience of various cable glanding eg Hawke, CMP glands Knowledge of Compex, Atex and 18th edition Knowledge of instrument records and LV test procedures Skills and Experience required: Apprentice trained in Industrial Electrical Engineer (or a relevant qualification) Relevant experience within related industry Good working knowledge of Power and Instrumentation wiring Knowledge of Compex and Atex is desirable General computer skills Excellent Organisation skills Ability to act independently Flexibility and ability to adapt to change Attention to detail Both day and night shifts can be considered, the working hours are: Day shift: 7am-3:30pm finish at 12pm on Friday Night shift: 9:15pm - 7:15am.
