We are looking for a Senior Community Fundraiser to help drive sustainable community fundraising income across Suffolk and parts of Essex, while building meaningful relationships with supporters from all backgrounds. This role is central to delivering our new five year fundraising strategy and contributing to long‑term positive impact through community‑led fundraising.
Role requires flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
Hours: 30- 37.5 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days
*Please note this role will be working at our temporary office while the expansion work of our Ipswich hospice carried out.*

* Develop and manage relationships with community supporters and partners
* Support the planning and delivery of community fundraising activities
* Identify and develop new, sustainable fundraising opportunities
* Represent the charity at events, talks and hospice visits
* Work collaboratively with fundraising and marketing colleagues

Job responsibilities
* Drive community fundraising income across the region, achieving or exceeding agreed targetsthrough strategic planning, strong relationship management and the development of highvalue opportunities, with a clear focus on supporter retention and lifetime value.
* Develop and steward high-performing supporters and partnerships, identifying newfundraising opportunities through insight, creativity and feedback, and prioritising activity thatdelivers the greatest income and awareness impact across Suffolk and neighbouring areas.
* Represent EACH professionally at community events, presentations and hospice tours,working closely with the Suffolk Community Fundraiser and Senior Community Fundraisers todeliver a consistent, high-quality supporter and volunteer experience and coordinated, regionwide engagement.
* Work collaboratively across fundraising teams, Marketing and Communications, and with theCommunity Fundraising Manager to support integrated supporter journeys, cross team income growth, strategic planning and forecasting, which maintaining accurate, GDPRcompliant records for Raisers Edge.
