Electrical Engineer - PeterboroughLocation: PE1

Pay: £20.20 PAYE / £26.30 Umbrella
Your new role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Peterborough. You will play a key role in maintaining critical systems and ensuring operational continuity across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA requirements
* Provide emergency response standby and call-out cover
* Manage work interruptions, outages, and emergencies in line with SLA
* Maintain accurate engineering documentation and records
* Advise Facilities Management on changes to critical environment requirements
* Undertake site surveys and produce Works Requests, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments
* Carry out upgrade and installation works
* Interpret technical drawings, instructions, and O&M manuals
* Complete all reactive Helpdesk requests promptly
* Monitor and analyse environmental conditions and equipment performance
* Ensure compliance with financial processes
* Complete incident reports for abnormal system events
What you'll need to succeed:
* Strong electrical engineering background
* Ability to work beyond contractual hours when required
* Excellent understanding of critical systems and compliance standards
* Proven experience in reactive and planned maintenance
