Junior Clinical Fellow in Medical Education
The Clinical Education Fellowships offer an exciting opportunity to work and develop within the Faculty of Medical Education in Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB across our three acute units: Princess of Wales Hospital, Royal Glamorgan Hospital and Prince Charles Hospital. Successful candidates will join a motivated, enthusiastic faculty in the delivery of undergraduate education for students primarily from Cardiff University Medical School. The posts are for one year from 5th Aug 2026 and would suit CTs/STs wishing to develop as clinical teachers. These posts are primarily for educational development; however, successful candidates have the opportunity to gain clinical experience within a chosen specialty for one day of the week (subject to specialty availability). Our educational fellows are required to undertake study for the PGCE/Diploma in Medical Education at Cardiff University and are encouraged to develop research projects during their tenure.
Please note: these roles are only available to those that have previously held a remunerated NHS position. If there is no evidence of paid NHS experience, the application will be immediately discounted.
