As a post holder, you will:
1. Be responsible for assessing and treating your own designated caseload of patients and maintaining their records as an autonomous practitioner.
2. Carry out day-to-day informal supervision of unqualified staff.
3. Assess risks relating to the discharge process to ensure a safe and timely discharge of patients to the most appropriate setting.
4. Provide advice and information to patients/carers, including instruction and training regarding the use of equipment issued.
You will have:
1. Exposure to and the opportunity to learn to manage a diverse caseload across various specialisms, with support and training to develop and prepare for moving into more senior roles.
2. Access to regular and culturally embedded supervision with experienced members of the therapy team, as well as close working and learning links with the MDT and other professionals within and outside the Trust.
3. The opportunity to work across both inpatient and outpatient areas and outreaching into the community as part of a wide and varied rotation.
