Responsibilities
* Provide proactive maintenance support across designated sites to minimize downtime
* Promote a culture of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibility
* Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and support long-term improvements
* Maintain critical spare parts and update work on the CMMS system
* Complete PPM tasks and follow up on remedial work
* Collaborate with the team on plant maintenance and condition monitoring
* Share learnings and attend training to ensure compliance
Candidate Profile
* Driving license required; van provided for site travel
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent
* Extensive experience in heavy engineering and mobile plant maintenance, including earth-moving equipment
* Skilled in fault-finding and repairing excavators, shovels, forklifts, and cranes
* Strong background in mobile plant fitting; hydraulic systems expertise preferred
* Electrical diagnostics skills desirable
* Understanding of plant operation, maintenance practices, and electrical safety
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification preferred
* Ability to work independently and travel between sites; own tools highly desirable
