Quality Assurance Lead - Sidcup
What you become part of:
Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one-stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio range of small cans. Across their 7 manufacturing lines, the site can produce 480,000 cans every hour, 96,000 PET bottles every hour, and 48,000 Glass bottles. There are currently around 300 employees across Manufacturing, QESH, and Engineering. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, develop, and coach the Lab Technicians, Technical Operators, and Team Leaders to ensure maximization of individual and team performance.
2. Support Production Managers and Team Leaders in the correct management of all Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health topics through advice and training.
3. Manage the complaints process affecting their Business Unit, including investigation, establishing Action Plans, and ensuring implementation to avoid repetitive issues.
4. Support all QESH audits within the Business Unit, preparing Action Plans from audit observations and ensuring their implementation.
5. Support and participate with the Engineering & Technology department in new investments or initiatives within the Business Unit.
6. Manage and track QESH Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the Business Unit and implement improvement actions when they are off track.
7. Participate in Operational Excellence projects as required.
8. Provide Quality Data as needed, including monthly data reconciliation.
9. Participate in Quality audits and inspections.
10. Participate in Quality/QESH related training.
11. Perform other responsibilities related to QESH functions.
Experience preferred:
* Operation in an FMCG production laboratory, preferably in the beverage industry.
* Basic microbiological knowledge.
* Food safety knowledge.
Qualifications required:
A Science degree (e.g., chemistry, pharmacy, biology) or equivalent.
