The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nations on earth should be doing more to address global poverty. The national campaign is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. and U.K. foreign policy.

The Borgen Project is an international organization that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of experience, the organization has supported the passage of numerous bills benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.
PR/Marketing Programme is a part-time, unpaid, remote role requiring 12 hours per week over 12 weeks. If you have limited availability, you can work ahead and complete the programme sooner. The role focuses on raising awareness of our work and includes:
* Creating a branding campaign
* Conducting focus groups and gathering feedback for market research
* Pitching story ideas to media outlets
* Developing and implementing fundraising strategies
* Planning, marketing, and presenting at informational meetings
* Utilizing social media and web messaging strategies
* Supporting The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts
Experience: No prior experience necessary; we seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.
Details: This is an unpaid opportunity; college credit may be available.
Start Date: New programmes start monthly; you can select your preferred start month.
