Overview
Senior Software Engineer (C#) at Goodlord. Location: Sheffield City Centre (Fargate).
Hybrid working as standard: 2 days a week in the office, the other 3 days from home.
About the team: We're a PropTech scale-up with a cloud-based platform that brings together agents, landlords and tenants online and processes all the paperwork electronically. Our small, self-organising squads build the platforms and tools to help us achieve our mission. We're disrupting an industry, so there are thorny, real-world problems to solve for agents, landlords and tenants who use our system.
The tech we use: At Goodlord we prioritise modern technologies to build scalable, efficient, and reliable systems. Our referencing backend is powered by Azure Functions in C#, enabling serverless and event-driven architectures. We use Azure Event Grid for event-based messaging and Cosmos DB for data storage. We also use Terraform for infrastructure as code to support fast, efficient deployments.
Our Mission: We’re improving the renting experience for everyone involved — agents, landlords and tenants.
