We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Hackney. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
* Matching purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
* Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships
* Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payment runs
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
* Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements
* Assisting with general finance administration and process improvements
About You
* Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
