We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a dynamic team on an office fit-out project in central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a high-profile project, ensuring all plumbing-related works are completed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage the plumbing trades on-site, ensuring work is carried out safely & efficiently • Provide daily oversight and guidance to subcontractors, ensuring quality control and adherence to health and safety • Monitor the progress of mechanical installations and plumbing systems, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met. • Liaise directly with the Mechanical Project Manager, reporting on progress & challenges • Ensure that all plumbing installations are compliant with current building regulations and standards. • Assist with the coordination of materials, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth day-to-day operations • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of plumbing works to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Key Requirements: • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role within the construction industry, ideally with office fit-out experience. • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and mechanical installations. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. • Strong understanding of building regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the project team, subcontractors • Valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety qualifications. • Must hold a valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) If you have a proven track record in mechanical supervision, a valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification, and are ready for your next challenge on a fast-paced office fit-out project, we would love to hear from you!
