We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Mental Health team at HMP Highpoint, a category C Prison located in the village of Stradishall in Suffolk. Highpoint is a male prison with a capacity of 1370 males.
You will be based within the healthcare department but will also go out to the wings to administer medication. The pharmacy team consists of 5 members.

* This role is a permanent 37.5 hours per week over 4 days
* Monday - Friday
* 7.45am - 6.15pm
Salary
This position is full-time, with an annual salary up to £28,247 - £36,500 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

* Provide high-quality, patient-centered care, listening to and acting on patient feedback to ensure personalized care.
* Maintain a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient records are accurate and SOPs are followed.
* Deliver non-judgmental care within professional standards, including timely medication administration and analysis of cost-effective prescribing.
* Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

What we look for in you

* NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Up-to-date CPD
* Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience

Experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment is desirable but not essential.
