This role provides a pro-active and efficient Facilities service to the business both in a hard and soft Facilities management with a strong focus on practical implementation management and cost reduction practices. Ensuring compliance with Collis/RTX policies and procedures and UK legislation. Key Responsibilities: Effective delivery of planned preventative maintenance for soft and hard activities whilst complying with statutory compliance Planning service contractor visits/ensuring service schedules are up to date and liaising with stakeholders Complete contractor risk assessment review and site inductions. Issues work permits to work as required and control contractors whilst on site and ensure compliance with Collins’ policies and procedures. Administrator for Facilities Helpdesk and complete actions as required Prepare business case justifications, specification and quotation support. Also prepare risk assessments, regular audits and method statements for internal Facilities activities. Complete administration activities from service report logs to statutory inspection reports. Deal with suppliers and negotiate cost reductions as required Support continuous improvement activities throughout the site and maintain Campus service drawing and floor plans as required. Required Skills & Experience: EH&S Awareness: Understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements in a manufacturing setting. At least two years facilities experience. Site audit experience including fire safety Rist assessment experience Manufacturing industry experience is essential Preferred Skills & Experience: Aerospace manufacturing experience Lean Manufacturing: Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Microsoft Office: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to document and report on performance. Process Improvement: Experience in leading or supporting process improvement projects. Why Join Us?
