This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a dynamic Plant Manager to join a world-class manufacturing organisation at a pivotal stage of growth and transformation. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for on-site operations, driving performance, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer value within a matrix-led structure.
As Plant Manager, you will provide leadership and operational oversight for the site. You will be responsible for setting and executing strategic goals, ensuring efficient operations, and promoting a culture of high performance across all departments.
Responsibilities of the Plant Manager will include:
* Lead and inspire cross-functional teams
* Develop and execute a progressive, forward-thinking site strategy aligned with wider business goals
* Drive operational excellence through world-class manufacturing practices and continuous improvement (CI).
* Champion lean manufacturing and embed a mindset of operational efficiency at all levels.
* Implement and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
* Work closely with Commercial, Technical, and Product Development teams to support innovation and growth
* Leverage technology to future-proof operations and boost productivity
We are keen to speak with Plant Managers / senior operations leaders with:
* Degree-level qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
* Proven experience in a senior site leadership role within a complex manufacturing environment
* Ideally from a CNC machining background
* A strong background in lean/CI methodologies and world-class manufacturing
* A track record of delivering successful operational transformations
* Strong commercial and financial awareness
* Strategic mindset with a practical, hands-on leadership style
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
