You will coordinate and directly manage a team providing a housing resettlement service for the integration of newly arrived refugees received under a range of national government schemes. You will need to have an In-depth knowledge of local and national housing issues and how these impact on refugee resettlement. This can be a fast-paced environment so you will need to be well-organised and flexible in your approach.
In conjunction with the Specialist Housing and Support Manager, you will design, plan, deliver and commission a range of integration and support services for refugees and asylum seekers arriving in the city, ensuring that all statutory obligations and grant conditions are achieved.
With strong interpersonal skills, you will develop and maintain effective partnership arrangements with other local authority, public sector, voluntary/community sector and private organisations, ensure that services are effective, joined up and meet the needs of refugees and asylum seekers.
