Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling products and ensuring that operations run smoothly.
Hourly rate £13.50, plus 15% shift allowance when working on the afters shift.
Work pattern:-
Monday to Thursday
Hours for day shift - 6.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday
Hours for afters shift am to 9.00pm - Monday to Wednesday
Hours for afters shift am to 8.00pm - Thursdays
Core Activities
* Masking of customer components using tapes, plugs and lacquers in line with customer drawing specifications.
* Identifying problems and potential problems early so that they can be addressed to minimise impact on production.
* Make certain all production processes and procedures are rigorously adhered to without exception.
* Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is adhered to with 5S maintained as it is rolled out through the facility.
* Ensure plant is appropriately maintained whilst reporting problems to enable repair without delay.
* Raise any non-conformance issues on any item as soon as they are identified using the company procedures.
* Accident and near miss reporting processes are followed.
* Ensure shop floor data collection bookings are always correct.
* Paperwork Handling: Complete all paperwork required for all orders and ensure that this is passed to the relevant department.
* Cleaning and preparation of the days ENP tanks, for following days production.
* Ensure all duties are carried out safely within the Company's Health & Safety requirements.
* Ensure full adherence to the Quality Manager System.
Preferred Experience
* Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Jigging/wiring of parts in fast paced environment.
* Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to safety and quality assurance is essential.
