Systems / Full Stack Developer

Location and Remote Work
This is a fully remote role for UK timezone only. Applicants must reside within the UK*.
About the Role
You’ll work directly with the Head of Systems to bring technical projects to life, handling everything from API integrations and cloud infrastructure to data transformation and analytics. This hands‑on, collaborative role balances technical execution with cross‑functional support, solving complex problems, learning new tools quickly, and creating solutions that scale our global operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Development & Integration
o Develop and maintain software applications integrating third‑party APIs.
o Build cloud‑based applications using JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and Google Apps Script.
o Create and customize web pages using React, Prepr CMS, and WYSIWYG SaaS platforms.
o Assist with Shopify development and customization.
* Data & Analytics
o Perform data transformation and analysis within the Snowflake data warehouse.
o Automate Google Sheets reports and dashboards from Snowflake data.
o Develop BI reports and visualizations to support business decision‑making.
o Build data views and reporting tools for internal teams.
* Cloud Infrastructure
o Utilize AWS services (Lambda, S3) to build, maintain, and scale cloud applications.
o Provide occasional systems administration coverage during absences.
o Integrate new tools using API calls and middleware (e.g. Make.com).
o Maintain existing infrastructure based around Snowflake, AWS, Airtable, and Google Sheets.
* Cross‑Functional Collaboration
o Partner with teams across the organization to translate business needs into technical solutions.
o Collaborate with Project Management and Head of Systems to deliver scoped projects.
o Provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
* Process & Operations Support
o Cover essential process‑based tasks during team absences to maintain business continuity.
o Assist with routine operations and maintenance to ensure system stability.
o Support live operations; occasional ad‑hoc after‑hours support may be required.
Essential Skills
* Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Node.js.
* Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3) and other cloud platforms.
* Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
* Experience with API development and integration.
* Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Apps Script).
* Web development experience (React / Next.js a plus).
* Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and curiosity.
Desirable Skills
* Experience building or integrating AI tools, such as customer‑facing chatbots or internal AI workflows.
* Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization platforms.
* Experience with Shopify development.
* Understanding of data transformation and ETL processes.
* A great sense of humour and a collaborative spirit.
