1. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced vet to take that next step and assist the practice owners in leading the other vets
2. You will join our fantastic practice which has relocating to a new location allowing it to double in size offering fantastic facilities including a CT scanner rehabilitation centre with hydrotherapy and physiotherapy
3. This is ideally full time but if you are looking for part time or a more flexible option please do get in touch as we are happy to discuss this
4. This will include 1 in 4 Saturdays – 9am till 12pm
5. Your development will be highly encouraged with CPD and certificates supported
6. No OOH, Sundays or Bank holidays!

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated and supportive team at Longton Vets For Pets. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values high standards of patient care, teamwork, and professional development.
About Us
At Longton Vets For Pets, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding veterinary care within a friendly, professional environment. Our modern, well-equipped practice includes digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory facilities, and dedicated surgical and dental suites. We have a CT scanner and take external referrals for this. Our team is complimented by our own physiotherapist who runs our rehabilitation department, which includes an underwater treadmill. You’ll be supported by an experienced nursing team and approachable management who encourage open communication and continuous improvement.

The Role Offers:
8. Salary up to £65,000, commensurate with experience
9. Flexible working options – full or part time hours considered
10. No out-of-hours or on-call duties

14. Paid professional memberships (RCVS, VDS, and one other of your choice)

Candidate Requirements:
16. A confident veterinary surgeon with at least 5 years’ experience in both consultations and routine surgery
17. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
18. A commitment to excellent patient care and client service
