Hays Education is working with a wide range of mainstream primary schools across South Warwickshire, and we are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supply team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school, you will support pupils with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties. The role may involve 1:1 support or small group interventions, helping pupils to access the curriculum and thrive within a classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting pupils with SEN within a mainstream classroom
2. Delivering targeted interventions and learning support
3. Assisting with behaviour support and emotional regulation
4. Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
5. Helping to create an inclusive, supportive and positive learning environment
Requirements:
6. Have experienced supporting children with SEN in a mainstream primary school (preferred)
7. Be patient, adaptable andmitted to inclusive education
8. Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
