The Role
As a Client Lead at Ogilvy, you will be the strategic partner and brand guardian for senior clients, guiding teams and clients, and unlocking the full potential of the agency’s capabilities. You will build and nurture client relationships, drive growth, and deliver award‑winning, culture‑shaping work.
Responsibilities
* Build strategic client relationships and foster collaboration across media, tech, and network partners.
* Identify strategic opportunities, solve problems, and drive growth through new capabilities and innovations.
* Lead client conversations, handle difficult situations, and ensure mutually agreeable outcomes.
* Set the tone and direction for the team, exhibit ambition, and create conditions for success.
* Use deep creative and production knowledge to guide the team and deliver best‑in‑class social work.
* Oversee commercial aspects, including revenue targets, profitability, and cost management.
* Collaborate with agency capabilities, ensuring seamless integration of strategy, creative, and production.
* Drive decision‑making, problem‑solving, and empower the team to think creatively and strategically.
* Act as a growth champion, pursuing new business and expanding Ogilvy’s client portfolio.
* Provide insightful industry and brand knowledge, staying ahead of trends and advocating best practices.
* Lead creative initiatives, partnering with creative leaders and maintaining brand consistency.
* Ensure the Masterbrand vision is executed, nurtured, and aligned across the network.
Requirements
* Experience leading a global brand at scale, with substantial creative work and cultural impact.
* Proven advisory experience with senior clients, speaking in the client’s language and identifying opportunities beyond current scope.
* Strong commercial acumen, including revenue targets, margin management, and pricing negotiations.
* Deep knowledge across channels—digital, social, media planning, PR, influencer, tech, and direct marketing.
* Leadership across complex multichannel campaigns, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and team wellbeing.
* Resilience and a can‑do attitude, moving strategically while supporting day‑to‑day work.
* Passion for diverse thinking and building inclusive teams, contributing to a positive agency culture.
