Join our team and contribute to the future of fusion energy as Business Case/ Engagement Manager in the field of fusion energy. In this role you will play a pivotal role in organising and managing engagement with a range of strategic stakeholders to the STEP programme. This will involve engaging with all aspects of the STEP programme as well as managing the programme’s interface with the Government’s assurance and approval processes for project funding and delivery. This is a collaborative role working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This role will provide mentorship and coaching to less experienced members of the business strategy team and the wider STEP programme to ensure a healthy talent pipeline and increasing awareness of the policy landscape. Additional Responsibilities: Develop, implement and track engagement plans for government stakeholders. You will support the Strategy & Engagement Lead and the STEP executive team in their engagement across the public sector and beyond, developing and implementing strategies and plans. Work with the business strategy team to interact with all aspects of the STEP programme to ensure timely commissioning, production and verification of content for Business Case submissions to various Government bodies and committees. Contribute to the development of business cases, drafting requirements for other teams’ content, undertaking stakeholder management activity to ensure materials are delivered on time and to sufficient quality, providing timely feedback.
