We’re looking for an experienced React Native Contractor to support the development of a high-quality mobile application as part of a fast-moving product team. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers to build and improve mobile features used by a growing user base.
This is a 6-month Outside IR35 contract paying £500/day, with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native
* Build clean, scalable and well-tested code
* Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver new features
* Integrate APIs and third-party services
* Optimise application performance and responsiveness
* Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Required Experience
* Strong commercial experience with React Native
* Experience building and deploying production mobile apps
* Experience integrating REST APIs
* Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD workflows
* Ability to work effectively in a distributed agile team
Nice to Have
* Experience with Expo
* Knowledge of native mobile development (Swift / Kotlin)
* Experience with automated testing frameworks
* Previous experience working in high-growth product teams
