Job Description
Were looking for a compassionate, experienced, and confident Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join a well-established care team in Port Talbot, South Wales.
In this pivotal role, youll provide strong clinical leadership and ensure high standards of nursing and personal care are delivered consistently. Youll be supporting residents with a range of complex and age-related health needs, and working closely with the Home Manager to lead the team, uphold compliance, and drive continuous improvement in care quality.
Whether covering for the Home Manager or overseeing day-to-day operations on the floor, youll lead by exampleoffering clinical guidance, mentoring colleagues, and ensuring person-centred care is at the heart of everything you do.
Who Were Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates who are either:
* An experienced Deputy Manager within an elderly care or nursing home environment
OR
* An experienced Ward Manager (or similar clinical leadership role) with a strong background in elderly care, either in a care home or hospital setting
In addition, you must have:
1. A valid NMC PIN and current registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
2. Proven experience in managing or overseeing care for older people, ideally in a residential or nursing home setting
