We have an exceptional team at Willows with a range of specialisms and disciplines. As a multidisciplinary RVN you will work within all areas of the hospital, rotating through each discipline, including cardiology, soft tissue, orthopaedic, neurology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and our primary care service.
Qualifications
* A registered veterinary nurse with at least 1 year post‑registration experience.
* A passion for specialist nursing and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
* A collaborative mindset, someone who is keen to progress but also willing to collaborate when needed.
* A supportive figure, confident in providing support where needed, for example students, residents, interns, and visiting veterinary surgeons.
Previous referral experience is desirable but not essential; comprehensive training and support will be provided. We require at least 1 year of qualified experience, and newly qualified RVNs may still be considered, provided they will join our post‑registration programme for the initial year.

In‑patient care is a priority and includes 24‑hour veterinary and nursing cover, with support from a team of emergency vets and interns. Our hospital facilities are of the highest quality, including on‑site Siemens 64‑slice CT, Siemens 1.5T MRI, two in‑theatre mobile image intensifiers, two digital radiography rooms, ultrasonography, electrodiagnostics, video endoscopy and an extensive range of advanced surgical equipment.
Schedule & Compensation
This is a full‑time position working an average of 38 hours per week, including a share of weekends (1:6). Shift times are between 7 am and 9 pm on a rota. The role offers 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and birthday leave. RCVS and VDS fees are paid, as are external CPD funding and an extensive free online Linnaeus CPD programme.
