Key Job Responsibilities: Selling holidays for two major travel brands – Caledonian Travel and Breakaways You will have drive and passion to hit and exceed sales targets, plus the dedication to deliver the very best in customer service to our customers. Selling holidays and holiday insurance ‘face to face’ and over the telephone. Processing holiday bookings through a bespoke reservations system. Processing brochure requests and holiday confirmations. Answering customer queries over the telephone and via email. Keeping up to date with the latest holiday products on sale and ensuring that your shop window reflects this to maximise sales potential and showcase our brands. Speaking with customers in the shop about their holiday experience and feeding this back to colleagues in other departments. Looking after our customers as they set off on holiday from their joining point. Complete daily banking duties. About you Previous telesales and customer facing experience in a supervisory role is desirable. Always looking for new sales opportunities. Responsible and accountable attitude. Enjoys leading by example and motivating your team to maximise sales and to deliver great customer service. An excellent communicator, able to engage with customers, suppliers and colleagues. Computer literate with accuracy, attention to detail and great organisational skills. We offer 7 days a week personal contact to our customers, through our travel shops and contact centre, so a flexible ‘can do’ attitude is essential to succeed in this role.
