Job Description
As Employee Relations Advisor your responsibilities will include
* Provide expert advice on employee relations issues
* Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
* Manage complex employee relations cases
* Develop and deliver training on HR topics
* Act as a key point of contact for HR queries
* Supporting diversity and inclusion. Giving accurate. And appropriate advice, training and support to managers.
* Work closely with the HR team to drive employee engagement initiatives
* Support the development of HR strategy
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practices
The Successful Applicant
A successful Employee Relations Advisor should have:
* An excellent understanding of UK employment law and a track record in keeping up to date with legislative development.
* Good understanding of the role of legislation in progressing issues of diversity.
* Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong knowledge of employment law
* Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues
* Demonstrated experience in delivering HR training
CIPD member or equivalent.
Employment law qualification or mediation qualification is a bonus.
